Claims:

I claim:

1. A playpen assembly comprising: a playpen body including a plurality of spaced-apart vertical support rods, and a plurality of horizontal support bars each connected between top endsof two adjacent ones of said vertical support rods; and a hanging bed unit hung on said horizontal support bars, and including a plurality of bed sections each having a bottom wall and a plurality of sidewalls that cooperate with said bottom wall todefine a receiving space, a first connecting portion interconnecting a top end of one of said sidewalls of one of said bed sections to a top end of one of said sidewalls of at least another one of said bed sections, and a first reinforcing rod extendingadjacent to said top ends of said bed sections and disposed beneath said first connecting portion, said first reinforcing rod bridging two opposite ones of said horizontal support bars and having two opposite ends connected removably and respectively tosaid two opposite ones of said horizontal support bars.

2. The playpen assembly of claim 1, wherein said two opposite ends of said first reinforcing rod are provided with hook members which are attached to said horizontal support bars.

3. The playpen assembly of claim 2, wherein said hanging bed unit further includes a second reinforcing member extending transversely from said first reinforcing rod to one of said horizontal support bars that is substantially parallel to saidfirst reinforcing rod.

4. The playpen assembly of claim 3, wherein said second reinforcing member has two opposite ends connected removably and respectively to said first reinforcing rod and said one of said horizontal support bars.

5. The playpen assembly of claim 4, wherein said two opposite ends of said second reinforcing member are provided with hook members which are attached respectively to said first reinforcing rod and said one of said horizontal support bars.

6. The playpen assembly of claim 3, wherein said bed sections include first, second and third bed sections, said sidewalls of each of said first to third bed sections having first, second, third and fourth sidewalls, said fourth sidewalls ofsaid second and third bed sections being adjacent to each other and to said fourth sidewall of said first bed section, said third sidewalls of said second and third bed sections being juxtaposed.

7. The playpen assembly of claim 6, wherein said first connecting portion connects a top end of said fourth sidewall of said first bed section to top ends of said fourth sidewalls of said second and third bed sections, said first to thirdsidewalls of said first bed section and said first and second sidewalls of said second and third bed sections having top ends provided with a plurality of hook members attached to said horizontal support bars.

8. The playpen assembly of claim 6, wherein said hanging bed unit further includes a second connecting portion interconnecting top ends of said third sidewalls of said second and third bed sections, said second reinforcing member being disposedbeneath said second connecting portion.

9. The playpen assembly of claim 6, wherein said first, second and third bed sections have different depths.

10. The playpen assembly of claim 6, wherein said first connecting portion includes a sleeve connected to said top ends of said fourth sidewalls of said first, second and third said bed sections, said first reinforcing rod being inserted intosaid sleeve.

11. The playpen assembly of claim 8, wherein said second connecting portion includes a sleeve connected to said top ends of said third sidewalls of said second and third bed sections, said second reinforcing member being inserted into saidsleeve of said second connecting portion.

12. A hanging bed unit for a playpen body including a plurality of horizontal support bars, said hanging bed unit comprising: a plurality of bed sections each having a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls that cooperate with said bottom wallto define a receiving space, and a first connecting portion interconnecting a top end of one of said sidewalls of one of said bed sections to a top end of one of said sidewalls of at least another one of said bed sections; and a first reinforcing rodextending adjacent to said top ends of said bed sections and disposed beneath said first connecting portion, said first reinforcing rod being adapted to bridge two opposite ones of the horizontal support bars and having two opposite ends adapted to beconnected removably and respectively to the two opposite ones of the horizontal support bars.

13. The hanging bed unit of claim 12, wherein said two opposite ends of said first reinforcing rod are provided with hook members which are adapted to be attached to said horizontal support bars.

14. The hanging bed unit of claim 13, further comprising a second reinforcing member extending transversely from said first reinforcing rod to one of said horizontal support bars that is substantially parallel to said first reinforcing rod.

15. The hanging bed unit of claim 14, wherein said second reinforcing member has one end connected removably to said first reinforcing rod, and the other end adapted to be connected removably to one of the horizontal support bars.

16. The hanging bed unit of claim 15, wherein said two opposite ends of said second reinforcing member are provided with hook members.

17. The hanging bed unit of claim 14, wherein said bed sections include first, second and third bed sections, said sidewalls of each of said first to third bed sections having first, second, third and fourth sidewalls, said fourth sidewalls ofsaid second and third bed sections being adjacent to each other and to said fourth sidewall of said first bed section, said third sidewalls of said second and third bed sections being juxtaposed.

18. A combined bassinet, diaper-changing table and storage assembly to be hung removably on a playpen, comprising a unitary body which includes first, second and third bed sections, each of said first to third bed sections having a bottom wall, and first, second, third and fourth sidewalls, a first connecting portion interconnecting a top end of said fourth sidewall of said first bed section to top ends of said fourth sidewalls of said second and third bed sections, and a first reinforcing rodextending adjacent to said top ends of said first to third bed sections and disposed beneath said first connecting portion, said first reinforcing rod being adapted to bridge two opposite ones of horizontal support bars of the playpen and having twoopposite ends adapted to be connected removably and respectively to the two opposite ones of the horizontal support bars of the playpen, said fourth sidewalls of said second and third bed sections being adjacent to each other and to said fourth sidewallof said first bed section, said third sidewalls of said second and third bed sections being juxtaposed.

19. The combined bassinet, diaper-changing table and storage assembly of claim 18, wherein said first to third sidewalls of said first bed section and said first and second sidewalls of said second and third bed sections have top ends providedwith a plurality of hook members adapted to be attached to the horizontal support bars of the playpen.
